Overview

The Je’daii Order is the modern expression of an ancient Force philosophy first discovered on Tython and reborn on the world of Virelya following the dissolution of the Jedi Order and the fall of Sith traditions.

Unlike the Jedi and Sith, the Je’daii do not view the Force as divided. They believe the Force is a single, unified energy expressed through opposing but necessary aspects.

They do not seek to control the galaxy. They do not enforce peace.

They exist to maintain harmony within the Force itself.

To most of the galaxy, the Je’daii are myth.

Core Philosophy

The Unified Force

The Je’daii reject the concept of “light” and “dark” sides.

Instead, they teach that the Force is:

• One living current
• Expressed through opposing energies
• Neither inherently good nor evil

What matters is not which aspect is used… but whether one becomes consumed by it.

Harmony Over Purity

The Jedi sought purity. The Sith embraced dominance.

The Je’daii seek harmony.

• Passion is not forbidden
• Calm is not required
• Power is not restricted

However:

Attachment to any single state creates discord.

The Danger of Extremes

The Je’daii believe that both rigid control and unchecked emotion lead to the same outcome:

Loss of self.

A Je’daii must:

• Feel without being ruled by emotion
• Act without being consumed by action
• Reflect without becoming stagnant

The Role of the Je’daii

The Je’daii do not serve governments or factions.

They act only when:

• The Force itself is threatened
• Harmony is artificially disrupted
• A disturbance risks spreading beyond natural limits

To intervene in politics or war unnecessarily is itself considered discord.

Structure and Ranks

The Je’daii Order is intentionally decentralized. There is no permanent ruling council.

Initiate

Newly discovered Force-sensitive individuals.

• Begin foundational training
• Learn awareness of opposing aspects of the Force
• Undergo early harmony exercises

Seeker

Apprentices actively training under a Je’daii Knight.

• Study emotional control and expression
• Begin limited field exposure
• Face controlled discord scenarios

Je’daii Knight

Fully trained practitioners of harmony.

• Operate independently or in small groups
• Observe the galaxy and respond to disturbances
• Serve as mentors to Seekers

Knights are the most commonly encountered members of the Order.

Master of Harmony

Highly experienced Je’daii who have demonstrated long-term stability.

• Guide philosophy and training methods
• Resolve internal disputes
• Oversee major disturbances in the Force

They do not rule… but their insight carries great weight.

The Circle (Informal)

A loose gathering of Masters who convene when necessary.

There is no permanent council. Only temporary alignment when harmony requires it.

Je’daii training is designed to expose students to both harmony and discord within the Force.

The Dual Path

Students are trained to:

• Channel passion and intensity

They must learn to transition between the two without losing themselves.

Trials of Harmony

Training includes a series of philosophical and practical trials:

Trial of Stillness

The student must maintain clarity under emotional pressure.

Trial of Motion

The student must act decisively without hesitation or fear.

Trial of Conflict

The student faces moral dilemmas with no “correct” answer.

Trial of Reflection

The student confronts their own fears, desires, and attachments.

Controlled Discord

Unlike Jedi training, Je’daii are intentionally exposed to imbalance.

• Fear
• Loss
• Power

The goal is not to avoid these states… but to experience them without being consumed.

The final test before becoming a Je’daii Knight.

The student is placed in a situation where:

• There is no guidance
• There is no clear right or wrong
• The outcome affects others

They must act… and accept the consequences.

Weapons and Tools

Je’daii often carry lightsabers, though their design may vary.

Common traits:

• Balanced or blended blade colors (white, amber, or shifting hues)
• Modular construction
• Personal modifications reflecting the wielder’s philosophy

Some Je’daii abandon lightsabers entirely, choosing to rely solely on the Force.

By 300 ABY, the Je’daii are rarely seen.

They are known as:

• Wanderers
• Observers
• Relics of a forgotten age

Many believe they have abandoned the galaxy.

Others believe they are watching… waiting.
