Black Sun survived the 300 ABY upheavals but no longer exists as a single empire. It has splintered into noble crime houses that call themselves Solar Courts and claim descent from the original syndicate. These courts run luxury shipping firms, banking networks, relic auctions, and private security companies. They are polished and subtle, preferring blackmail, debt, bribery and assassination disguised as accidents to open violence.

Where They Are Now

Black Sun’s influence is strongest on wealthy Core and Inner Rim worlds where old aristocracies survived. They avoid open war and prefer to manipulate politics from behind a velvet curtain. Harmony is good for business, but controlled harmony is better.
