                                         Background
  Samael was Born during a solar eclipse in the 557th year of the 41rst Mellenium on the Eldar Craftworld of Saim-Hann. Many of the farseers believed this unusual time of birth forshadowed his future thus granting him the sir name Shadowstrider. This prooved fortuitus and correct as even as a child Samael excelled in stealth and hiding games with the other Eldar childen. Surpassing the norm for agility and finesse even for that graceful race.
  Apon coming of age at the age of 100, Samael felt drawn to the temple of the scorpion. Joining the striking scorpions, further refining and perfecting his agility and stealth under the tutalige of exarch Vyre Ebonshard, an exarch who lost his way apon the path of the scorpion some 600 years past. Samael excelled at this, quickly becoming a very potent striking scorpion. But like all Eldar, his ability was a double edged sword, as after 125 years apon the path, Samael felt himself pulled further and further into the path, risking being lost to it as his mentor Vyre was. It was at this time, to save his own identity that Samael set down the mantle of the scorpion and saught another path to his destiny.
  To avoid the dangerous pitfall of the rigid casts of the Eldar paths, Samael chose instead to leave, and follow the path of the exile as a Ranger. This he felt would allow him to utilize his skills the best while also avoiding the pitfall of becoming lost in a path, as the very nature of the exile, constant adventure, and vastly different situations to survive in, kept his mind and spirit from becoing trapped on one path.
  Indeed after 209 years apon this path Samael is thriving, having found himself in the company of Eldar from various differennt Craftworlds, and even at times traveling with the enigmatic Halequins, and Drukhari. All these experiences keep his mind fresh, and vibrant with the new experiences, but always his primary loyalty lies with far off Saim-Hann. And it is this that has him now on his latest adventure, on the far off Imperial World of Achimedes-IV, as the farseer of Saim-Hann Nymyth Fatesinger has seen some possible calamnity befalling the craftworld if they did not assist the Imperium here. Thus has she dispatched Samael, one of their most reliable rangers to the planet.
