Growing up his father, Theor taught him the ways of the land, both the plains and the forests bordering it, Showing him how to hunt, and trap. How to Track and read the signs, and most of all, how to look for Orc Sign, they constant scourge in all of Middle Earth. From these lessons Ulfric was instilled with a sense of responsibility and justice, feeling a need to help protect both the people and the land of Rohan from any threats that could arise, both internal and external. With this mindset deeply ingrained in him, it was at the age of 16, that Ulfric started riding out on his self appointed rounds, patrolling further and further from the family lands on his horse, guarding Rohan and cleansing it of evil.
