Apon the world of Archimedes IV I was given information of a possible Genestealer infestation being lead by an imperial citizen named Grovis. This citizens ambition was to deliver the world to the clutches of the Tyranid hive fleets, which he refereed to as "Star Gods".
Apon the completion of our purging of the Genesealer cult, as per Inquisitorial standard operations decree Alpha Seti 14.75, I and my companions were placed in isolated quarantine for observation to rule out any corruption. It was during this quarantine that a new form of corruption revealed itself. A newly appointed inquisitor named Draxus Valman took advantage of this situation to incarcerate us well beyond standard protocol. Fortunately, not all in the organization were as corrupt, I was able to convince a guard, Dellark Krandis to work with me, he provided me with the key card to my cell and a data pad with the information to find the records of the rogue inquisitors' betrayal of the Imperium. These betrayals included illegal experiments he was conducting on Imperial psykers to develop serums to control them, which, along with his illegal weapons trade, he could then sell on the black market to line his own pockets with wealth to increase his fame and prestige. Once I located the incriminating evidence on Draxus, I then transmitted this to Inquisitor Lyra Sylas, and went to confront and excommunicate the heretical traitor.
After locating incriminating evidence in the domicile of Grovis showing maps and times for meetings of the cult in the bowls of the Archimedes IV underworld, I and my party descended into the forgotten bowels of the planet. Here we met the heretics face to face and engaged them, including 2 pure bread Genestealers which almost proved me undoing as I was forced into hand to hand with the monstrosity. It was at this time the enemy was in its element, ripping and shredding at me with its claws. in the encounter I lost my left arm below the elbow as I lifted it in a futile effort to ward off the blow that ruined the upper right quarter of my head and face. The one thing this best did not count on though was my Emperor granted iron will and unshakable devotion, as with my fading strength I reached up forcing his hand into the open bolter wound on the side of its head i had opened earlier, and launched a devastating mental attack, cracking the things carapace and head in its final moments. Apon dispatching these heretical threats I and my companions made our way into the lair of the cult, just as they completed a blasphemous ritual to try to summon the Hive Fleet to Archimedes IV. It was at this time i granted to emperors mercy to all within the lair. Men.. Women,, and Children. Emperor be praised all evident located showed we had caught the cult in its earlier stages and this strike was enough to eradicate their threat to the Imperium.
Draxus revealed his down fall was his pride and lust for power, jealous of my successes and wanting to supplant me as the local inquisitor on Archimedes IV. This would allow Draxus to to hide his illicit experiments and arms dealing with the black market. Unfortunately, Draxus was not the kind to surrender, and after rearming ourselves with our equipment from the storage room, I and my companions had to put him down, ending his threat.

I inquisitor Kane here by record the following in my efforts to protect and ensure the survival of the Empire in his Name.
