Starships of the Secondary Protocol Initiative
Welcome to the starship registry for the campaign Star Trek: Those Old Scientists. This archive details the various vessels commissioned or assigned under the Secondary Protocol Initiative—a Starfleet operation enacted in the early 2270s to address overlooked missions, neglected sectors, and the growing complexities of Federation diplomacy.
Purpose of the Initiative
With the Federation expanding rapidly and frontline starships overtaxed by logistical and diplomatic tasks, Starfleet launched the GGY-900 “Antares-class” retrofit project.
