Not accepted by either his goblin mother, or his Halfling father who refuses to acknowledge him without a paternity test to prove it really wasn't a log he used to gratify himself in his drunken stupor, Snotnose lives on the outskirts of the Hobbit shire of Bumblelick. His hobbit hole leaves a bit to be desired as its really just a muddy hole about 5 feel deep dug into the side of a pig pen. But Snotnose is proud of his home, as since he has taught the pigs this spot is his, its a place to call his own.

Most other inhabitants of Bumblelick are glad for Snotnose's incessant humming of show tunes as this warns them of his approach and gives them opportunity to hide, a fact that Snotnose simply attributes to everyone being busily working their fields.

Snotnose Hairytoelicker

Snotnose is a half-goblin, half-halfling druid of some renown in his corner of the woods. He was born after an ill-advised meeting between a halfling father and a goblin mother. His father insists that the entire episode involved a hollow log and refuses to acknowledge Snotnose without sworn witnesses. Snotnose is infamous for hay-fever sneezes that interrupt the tavern songs he constantly hums.

Accepted by neither side of his family, Snotnose lives on the outskirts of the halfling settlement of Bumblelick. His home is a muddy hole about five feet deep, dug into the side of a pigpen. Snotnose is proud of it; after teaching the pigs that the spot belongs to him, he finally had a place of his own.

A self-appointed druid, Snotnose wanders the countryside away from crowds and tries to speak with animals. He believes he is making progress, having so far been bitten by a squirrel, scratched by a rabbit, and sprayed by a skunk. He enjoyed the last encounter because he thought it improved his smell. The inhabitants of Bumblelick appreciate his constant humming because it warns them of his approach and gives them time to hide, a fact Snotnose attributes to everyone being busy in the fields.
