   Clan Frostaxe is a medium sized dwarven clan numbering about 400 dwarfs that has been recognized as an official clan for several dwarven generations. They currently reside in Underholm but due to the overcrowding of Underholm since the thunder blessing sent to his people by Moradin, the clan is currently looking to relocate to a settlement of their own. To this end they have identified the abandoned dwarven fortress of [[Axeholm]] as a site for future reclamation. A site they can restore to its former glory with the fortress above for defense, and expanding down with a fully functioning Clan halls, mines and forges under the fortress. A place where they will have room to grow. 
   Clan Frostaxe is a very self sufficient clan, comprising of 16 known seperate dwarven families, brought together either by marriage or alliance. Within its ranks are all the spcialists a good dwarven clan needs to be able to support itself, warriors, smiths, miners, masons, artisens,  brewers, and the faithfull of Moradin just to name a few. The clan is lead by the Elder of the Frostaxe family, Agnar Frostaxe, but like all practical and pragmatic dwearves, he understands the value of council and wisdom to approach an issue. To this end, yes he is the Thane and head of Clan Frostaxe with final say, but he has a council of elders that he meets with every fullmoon to discuss Clan matters and issues with to get there insights. This council is comprised of the 6 Eldest members from the clan families, with no more than 1 member from a single family at a time. Currently this coucil of elders is comprised of, Thorgrim Elderbeard, Kurgaz Krakhammer, Clangdon Ironhelm, Torrus Longbeard, Valio StoneBorn, and Hardur Ironhewer.
