== Imperial Proclamation ==
'''Heroic Victory at the Chapel of Lady Claire!'''
Word has reached Altdorf of a miraculous victory in the northern frontier town of Felswald. Local militia, aided by wandering heroes, have repelled a Skaven infestation beneath the ancient '''Temple of Lady Claire'''.
The '''Sacred Bell of Felswald''', long believed lost, has been restored to its rightful tower and now rings once more over the town square. Witnesses report that its first toll “banished the mists and silenced the rats.”

The Emperor’s court has yet to issue an official statement, but a dispatch from the Reiksmarshal’s office calls the recovery “a symbol of faith and fortitude in dark times.”

----

== From the Church of Sigmar ==
'''The Spirit of Sir Edcer Redeemed'''
The ghost of '''Sir Edcer''', once a fallen knight bound to his failure, is said to have found redemption through divine grace. Locals claim to have seen his spectral form kneeling before the altar before vanishing in radiant light.

The Cult of Sigmar has declared the event a “manifest miracle” and announced plans to consecrate the Chapel of Lady Claire as a *Holy Site of the Faithful*.

----

== Steel & Steam ==
'''Emperor’s Wrath Still Missing — But Whispers Persist'''
Though order has been restored in Felswald, the Steam Tank '''''Emperor’s Wrath''''' remains unaccounted for. Engineers sent to investigate found deep furrows in the earth leading toward the Frostmere woods, but no sign of the machine itself.

Rumors persist of strange runic energy lingering near the temple grounds.

----

== Festivities & Merriment ==
'''Grotmas Comes to Felswald!'''
With the town safe and the bell restored, preparations for '''Grotmas Eve''' are in full swing. Children hang charms of holly and hammered tin, while merchants hawk sweet rolls shaped like squigs.

The mayor has announced a public feast in the square, complete with mulled ale, roasted goose, and the lighting of the *Comet Tree*.

Citizens are reminded that while festive hats are encouraged, the wearing of green hoods in mimicry of “the Grot of Grotmas” remains '''technically heretical''' under Altdorf law.

----

== Sports: Blood Bowl in Felswald ==
'''Frosthexenfest Cup – Winter Exhibition Match'''
This year’s '''Frosthexenfest Blood Bowl Exhibition''' brings together the Empire’s finest (and rowdiest) teams for the annual winter classic on the frozen pitch of Felswald:

* '''Altdorf Griffons''' (defending Reikland League champions)
* '''Middenheim Maulers''' (current league runners-up)
* '''Carroburg Crimson Crushers'''
* '''Local hopefuls: Felswald Frosthawks''' – a last-minute entry of farmers, watchmen, and one very determined priest

Mayor Ulbrech has declared the game “an offering of sport and solidarity,” though rumors suggest the pitch may still bear faint warpstone residue from the Skaven tunnels below…

''Match Prediction:'' “If the Frosthawks score even once, it will be a miracle greater than Sir Edcer’s.”

''Upset of the Week:'' Carroburg Crimson Crushers stun the Nuln Ironclads with a last-second touchdown after a botched cannonball taunt distracts the Dwarf line.

''Player to Watch:'' Gunnar “Frostbite” Fjellsen of the Maulers — three sacks, one fractured tibia (his own), and he still finished the match smiling.

== Foreign Dispatches ==
* '''Bretonnia:''' Pilgrims report a “holy ringing” heard on still nights across the Grey Mountains, claiming it is the echo of Felswald’s restored bell.
* '''Kislev:''' Ice Witches note new aurora patterns forming a twin-tailed comet over Erengrad.
* '''Tilea:''' Scholars dispute the nature of the Felswald miracle, declaring it “an alchemical resonance” and calling for samples of bell-metal and soil.

== Ye Old Craigs List ==
'''Notice of Gratitude – Felswald'''
To the brave souls who aided in the purging of the Temple of Lady Claire: your deeds have not gone unnoticed. The townsfolk of Felswald invite you to the Grotmas feast as honored guests.

''P.S. The Witch Hunter VonKross has been seen smiling — once.''

== Editor’s Note ==
The Gazette commends the people of Felswald for their valor and faith. Should any additional miracles, disappearances, or unsanctioned Grotmas pageants occur, correspondence may be left at our offices on the Avenue of Two-Tailed Comets, opposite the Temple of Sigmar.
