Overview
The Adeptus Mechanicus controls the sacred technology, industrial machinery, and major manufacturing systems of Fortis Prime. Its tech-priests maintain the planet's manufactorums, protect restricted knowledge, and ensure that production follows the doctrines of the Omnissiah.

The faction is essential to both Fortis Prime's agricultural economy and its military supply network. Its authority sometimes brings it into conflict with workers, planetary officials, and the Inquisition.

Leadership on Fortis Prime
Magos Dominus Octavius Kael
Octavius Kael is the senior planetary representative of the Adeptus Mechanicus. He supervises technology and manufacturing across Fortis Prime and sets policy for Mechanicus facilities and personnel.

Magos Dominus Ferrus Tiber
Ferrus Tiber is the local overseer of Manufactorum 12, operating under Kael's planetary authority. He is uncompromising in matters of doctrine, production efficiency, and technological purity.

Important Personnel
* Ferrus Tiber — Magos Dominus and overseer of Manufactorum 12.
* Octavius Kael — Planetary Mechanicus authority on Fortis Prime.
* Corvis Rael — Former Enginseer Primus whose prohibited work with artificial intelligence and xenos technology was uncovered during The Corrupt Mechanicus. He was executed by Ferrus Tiber for crimes against the Omnissiah.
* Rat — A Skitarii operative who has assisted Naltherion Kane's group in several investigations.

Facilities and Responsibilities
* Manufactorum 12 — Produces agricultural machinery and maintains wartime production lines for munitions and weapons components.
* Maintains and sanctifies industrial machinery across Fortis Prime.
* Controls access to restricted Mechanicus technology and archives.
* Supplies technical personnel and equipment to planetary military forces.
* Investigates technological heresy, unsanctioned artificial intelligence, and misuse of xenos technology.

Relations with Other Factions
Government of Fortis Prime
The Mechanicus supports the planet's economy and defenses but retains considerable independence over its facilities, personnel, and sacred technology.

Inquisition
The two organizations cooperate when technological corruption threatens Fortis Prime. Their authority can overlap when an investigation concerns xenos devices, artificial intelligence, or heretek activity. Ferrus Tiber now provides technical assistance to Naltherion Kane after Kane's group exposed corruption inside Manufactorum 12.

1017th Imperial Guard
The Mechanicus maintains military equipment and supplies wartime components used by the Imperial Guard and other defenders of Fortis Prime.
